ODYSSEY

Irina & Kay

MOOD/STYLING

Our approach will emphasize simplicity and authenticity. We will aim to seamlessly blend the beauty of the human form with the rugged terrain, creating a visual narrative that is both natural and straightforward. In addition to full-body shots, we’ll incorporate detailed parts modeling to add variety and depth to the visual story, highlighting specific body parts against the backdrop of Iceland’s natural elements. Please keep me honest and focused so we do not get lost in the beautiful landscape and forget this portion.

While the primary focus will be on nude artistry, please also bring monochromatic clothing options like loose-fitting button-up shirts, dark jackets, or wrap dresses for situations where full nudity isn’t feasible or appropriate due to travel or environmental factors. Dark textures are always great for a gritty, raw mood. I will have black and white chiffon sheets for the wind.

Flexibility is key, as extreme weather conditions may necessitate adjustments to our plans. Regardless of the setting, our goal remains consistent: to create respectful and beautiful art that seamlessly integrates the human form with Iceland’s breathtaking landscapes.

Of course, this is only a starting point. We have plenty of time leading up to our trip and during the days/drives of our trip to come up with great ideas. Your input is invaluable, and I fully welcome collaboration. I look forward to the beautiful images we will capture together.

Big theme: Balancing the scale of nature with the more detailed nuances of the body.

MAKEUP

Let’s prioritize a light and natural makeup look.  Keep hairstyle simple, avoiding excessive styling. Hair down, a messy bun, or a ponytail aligns well with our desire for an effortless and natural appearance.  Overall style will remain very similar to our previous photoshoots.
