Photography came into my life without fanfare.
No grand plan. No singular defining moment. Just a quiet unfolding—an instinctive pull toward something that felt real. What began as trial and error slowly transformed into something more intentional. A release. A reflection. A visual language I hadn’t known I was learning to speak.
Black and white is where I feel most at home.
In the absence of color, distractions fall away. What remains is the essence—raw, elegant, timeless. Light and shadow become characters in a deeper story, one that speaks in silence and lingers long after the frame ends.
Still, not every truth lives in grayscale. Sometimes, life insists on color—in motion, in atmosphere, in the unexpected energy of a place or a moment. I don’t resist that. I make space for it. Not often. Not deliberately. But when it arrives with intention, I let it stay.
My work isn’t about spectacle or perfection. It’s about presence. I’m drawn to what’s quiet, in-between, unresolved. The glance before the smile. The stillness after movement. The way light rests on someone when they think no one’s watching. These are the moments that matter.
